Better Care Through Collaboration
Collaboration among healthcare professionals is key to delivering better care to improve the patient experience. The Center for Interprofessional Practice, Education and Research (CIPER) is the catalyst for interprofessional education and practice for Creighton University and CHI Health, our primary academic health partner. CIPER is part of the Nexus Innovations Network supported by the National Center for Interprofessional Practice and Education.

Mission
Grounded in the principles of social justice, CIPER is a catalyst for interprofessional education, research, and collaborative care with excellent educational programs, cutting edge scholarship, and optimal clinical outcomes to promote health for all.
This was a highlight of my experience thus far as a Creighton trained medical professional. The effective communication and teamwork shown across a variety of disciplines showed me what it means to work inter professionally.
